For as long as couple of months, Wizkid has been prodding the arrival of his hotly anticipated collection, Made In Lagos, sharing scraps and potential partners. Presently, he's reported his first official single of the year, the Northboi-delivered "Joro", getting us significantly more advertised.
Fortunately, fans haven't needed to manage a Wizkid drought, as the afropop star discovered time, in the middle of taking a shot at the album, to work together with any semblance of Skepta, Goldlink, Larry Gaaga and then some. While every one of those group ups were incredible, nothing truly beats a Wizkid single.
A year ago, Wizkid kicked things off with the Northboi-created "Soco", which proceeded to turn into the melody of the year. From that point forward, Northboi has turned out to be a standout amongst the most energizing beatsmiths in the game, working with everybody from Mayorkun to Terri.Given that the two have rejoined once more, it's hard not to be energized for "Joro". While the declaration didn't accompany a discharge date, in commonplace Wizkid style, regardless we'll be holding up with teased breath to hear what the afropop juggernaut has concocted.
